OREGON HS CLUB FREESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:
Greetings snow riders.
This spring Mt. Bachelor will be hosting the first high school freestyle series in Central Oregon. Central Oregon is home to one of the largest talent pools in the Pacific Northwest. Freestyle riding is one of the most watched Olympic winter sports, we are excited to bring it forth in the high school arena.
Having these events in the winter/spring presents us with the opportunity to add a border/skier cross competition to the series. Also with almost all of the winter competitive season coming to an end, this will be a way to extend your competitive season. Our intent is to consider other competition schedules in the region and design our series as a logical addition. Mt. Bachelor’s central location provides an optimum location for A State Meet. This Event will include High School club sports as well as Sanctioned High School teams. This competition is presented in conjunction with The Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association (OISRA) the governing body for ALPINE and NORDIC high school ski racing in Oregon.
